Hartford Illustration MFA
I'm a student again! I recently completed the first two weeks of my MFA in Illustration program at The Hartford Art School. It was an intense but inspiring two weeks. Met a lot of great people and started working on a children's book I plan on using for my thesis. Stay tuned for more updates!
Summer 2010 Update
Lots of projects in the works this summer. I was just hired to illustrate two children's books for Sterling Publishing. The author is none other than Lisa Loeb! So excited to be working on the project. I've been singing "Stay" ever since I got the news. Working on a book cover for Greenwillow and I'm also doing Antiques Roadshow again.
Last night was the Connecticut Art Director's Club awards show. I walked away with three silver awards and a Judge's award for my Antiques Roadshow poster, it was a great night.
New Year, New Work
Just added a bunch of new stuff to the site. Also added some new birdhouses and boxes to my etsy site.
Summer 09 update
It's been a while since I've updated anything. The book I've been working on, One Big Rain, for Charlesbridge publishing is almost finished. Also, been working on a new project for Antiques Roadshow. Look for my t-shirts and posters in next seasons episodes!
Etsy Shop
I recently created a shop of my work on www.etsy.com. It's a pretty cool site, lots of great hand-crafted art objects, prints, illustrations, etc... Check out my section at www.iheartbirds.etsy.com
One Big Rain!
I am delighted to announce that I was recently contacted by Charlesbridge Publishing to illustrate a poetry book entitled One Big Rain. The book will be on shelves in April of 2010. Check back for updates on the progress of the book.
